Use of Generative Artificial Intelligence

Which parts of Ashram are produced with AI tools, how that work is supervised, and what we do not do with them.

Last updated · 3 October 2026

1. Why we are telling you

We would rather say it before being asked. Ashram is developed by a single person, and generative artificial intelligence tools are part of what makes a project of this scale possible at all.

This disclosure complies with Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (AI Act), with the disclosure policies of the digital stores where the game is published, and with the simple idea that whoever buys a game is entitled to know how it was made.

2. Where it is used

Generative AI tools are used, always with human review and editing, for:

  • Concept art and sketches for armour sets, weapons and creatures.
  • Item illustrations (splash art) and interface iconography elements.
  • Generation of base 3D meshes from concept art, which are then cleaned, retopologised, re-weighted and integrated into the engine by hand.
  • Support textures and material variations.
  • Character and creature voices, made with synthetic voices and then edited, mixed and tuned by hand before entering the game.
  • Assistance in writing code, always reviewed, tested and compiled before being integrated.

3. Where it is NOT used

  • No real person’s voice is cloned: the game’s voices are synthetic.
  • No real person’s image, name or likeness is used.
  • AI is not used for unsupervised moderation: decisions affecting an account are reviewed by a person on appeal.
  • The legal texts on this site are not AI-generated without human review, nor do they replace professional advice.
  • Game design, lore, balance and creative decisions are human.

4. Human oversight

No asset reaches the game as it comes out of the tool. Everything goes through editing, proportion correction, palette adjustment, retopology or repainting until it fits Ashram’s art direction, and is tested inside the engine before being accepted.

Responsibility for the final result is entirely ours, regardless of the tool used to get there.

5. Third-party rights

We use commercial tools whose terms of use permit commercial exploitation of the generated outputs, and we do not steer generations to imitate the work, distinctive style or trade marks of specific artists or studios.

If you believe an Ashram asset improperly reproduces a work of yours, write to llboom@brainsoft.games identifying the work and the asset concerned. We review it and, if the claim is well founded, we remove or replace it.

6. User content

If you publish content in the community that was generated entirely with AI, we ask you to say so. It is not forbidden, but transparency between us works both ways.
