Who they are

Who they are

Warrior monks of the central steppes, heirs to wandering ascetic orders. They fight in melee with fists and discipline, sustain their group with martial healing, and control the tempo of the fight with stuns.

Their story

Their story

The Yodha have no home: they have a path. Generations of wandering monks have crossed the plateaus of Surya repeating the same vow — to master the body in order to free the mind. Their discipline is not cold; it is a compassion that strikes when it must strike and heals when it must heal. When the Tone fell silent, the Yodha were the first to hear the void it left, and the first to decide to fill it with their own hands.

Origin and culture

Central steppes and the Plateaus of Surya, where wandering monastic orders have roamed for centuries. Ascetic orders with master-disciple lineages. Personal vows that mark stages of life.

Ritual marks on forehead and wrists that record the vows taken throughout life. Discipline, compassion without sentimentality, mastery of the body, mental clarity.

Resource and signature

Resource and signature

Like every lineage, the Yodha fights with Resonance: each skill spends it and it comes back over time, faster while sitting out of combat. Its signature is Breath, the attribute: every point is worth 10 % more and becomes healing power, resonance, cooldown reduction and tenacity. Its heals scale with Breath and Healing Power, and its buffs and heals go off instantly, with no cast bar.

At level 5 it chooses its role: Ascetic (melee with sustain) or Custodian (healer). The base kit is four attacks (levels 1 to 4) and two supports (5 and 7); the role adds a skill almost every level up to 25.

The lineage's base kit is four attacks (levels 1 to 4) and two supports (levels 5 and 7), with either role. On reaching 5 the game tells you: open the book (K), go to Talents and pick one of the two cards. You choose once: the role's skills unlock in the book, almost one per level up to 25, the other role's leave and your skill points become available again.
