Patch notes2026.09.26.1
New netcode, crafting tables, food, guilds and Russian
1 new

20 Hz server, Create · Refine · Reforge tables, premium recipes, food and potions, guilds, Russian and bug fixes.
The new-netcode patch: the server now runs at 20 updates per second with trusted movement (no more being yanked backwards while walking), the crafting tables get Create · Refine · Reforge, premium items can also be crafted from world materials, food and potions were redone, guilds gain rank permissions, Russian arrives and the batch of reported bugs is fixed. Update required: the world checks the client version on connect and an older client cannot get in.
Network and server
- Server at 20 updates per second (the model of the big MMOs): each update's budget grows from 16 to 50 ms and is shared among hundreds of creatures and players without losing the beat. The client sends 20 moves per second (10 while standing).
- Trusted movement: the server no longer re-simulates every step of the player; it takes the position, facing and speed the client reports and applies them. Rubber-banding (the character thrown backwards while walking) is gone. The server still rules whenever it moves the character itself: respawn, Homeward Stone, channel switch, skill leaps and knockdowns.
- Sleeping creatures: a still creature with nobody nearby updates once per second, and the map is split into 24 cells: in a cell without players the creatures sleep and respawns wait until someone comes close.
- New replication system (Iris) on by default, with per-actor frequencies (creatures and vendors 10 Hz, players 20 Hz) and without the 239 sub-level settings every player received on every update (15 of every 50 ms with 20 players).
- Measured on the load bench with bots: with 20 bots fighting non-stop, the server thread went from 99 % to 8.7 %; with 30, to 15.7 %.
- Chat through a service: world chat, whispers and guild chat travel through their own service across channels; if it is unavailable, the world delivers them as before.
- Casting a skill in the air no longer leaves the character hanging: the animation plays while gravity keeps acting.
- Stairs and hatches are climbed by walking, no jump needed (60 cm step and walkable floor up to 50°; creature AI uses the same values).
- Surya: 118 meshes (wooden floors, stairs, platforms) now use their real collision: no more floating over them.
- Target frame 20 % bigger; no minimap marker sticks to the rim any more (the compass points at what is far).
Crafting tables: Create · Refine · Reforge
- Create hands the piece with random attribute lines, like a drop, signed by the artisan. Crafted gear used to come out with no stats.
- Refine (+N) stays at the anvil, for clothing and weapons.
- Reforge, the third mode, changes the lines of an already crafted piece, each kind at its own table (weapons at the anvil, clothing at the loom, jewels at the bench). One refining item per changed line (its grade sets that line's minimum quality), one seal per added line, and untouched lines stay as they are: nothing is left to chance. The reforged piece carries the reforger's name.
- Every table has its extras: the anvil, the bronze, silver and gold sharpening stones (rough and fine) and the Tuning Core, sealed with Tempering Salt; the loom, the refining dusts and the Resonant Wax; the jewellery bench, the forge essences and the Forge Seal. Shaila sells them and they drop from creatures of level 20 and up.
- The reforge panel takes the piece and the stones dragged from the bag, shows the range each line will get, the quality and the odds per number of lines; every attribute has its emblem.
- Character sheet: hovering Vigor, Strength, Cunning, Breath and Crystal shows what each point gives, the current points and the lineage bonus.
- Every table opens on Create; the modes sit on narrow plates and the button reads Craft.
Premium items at the tables
- Premium items can also be crafted from world materials (the shop keeps selling them). Anvil: the Sambadu and Uta Sambadu refining stones, the Rank Stone and the Safeguard Seal. Alembic: Repair Seal, Watcher's Candle, Purge of Spirits, Oblivion of the Echo and the six elixirs. Hearth: Aeon Banquet.
Food and potions
- Cooked food scales by rarity: Common 80 health at once and 40 % of max health over 3 minutes; Uncommon 150 and 75 % over 5; Rare 300 and 110 % over 7; Epic 500 and 150 % over 10; Legendary 800 and 200 % over 15. The healing lasts the whole meal, and the buff scales with the rarity.
- Thira's dishes heal three times as much at once; fruit, raw meat, the ration and the hard bread now differ from one another.
- Potions: the regeneration over time goes from 8 to 15 seconds and shows in the buff bar; the percentage doubles and the instant part rises by 25 %. It applies to alchemy and Thira potions, health and resonance alike.
- Descriptions tell where each dish or flask comes from; the numbers (instant, per second, total, buff duration, cooldown) are computed from the real data.
Premium shop
- Packages, the Eon Pass and top-ups show the icons of the gifts with their quantity (and "+N" when there are more); the tooltip lists every gift with its icon and the premium chest shows its contents in icon rows.
- Eye of the Aeon (1000 Redshards): a service that shows every player of the channel on the map, as fixed orbs in the colour of their lineage; the services carry their own art.
Minimap and combat
- The minimap is radial, 50 metres: creatures and their spawn areas show only within that radius (the big map keeps the areas); other players at 50 m and the party always.
- During a skill the character stays put until its last half second, when it can move again.
Guilds
- Guild invitations are now shown: they reached the client and never appeared. The same accept-or-decline window as the party's opens.
- The leader sets the permissions per rank (invite, kick, withdraw from the bank, change the motto) in a table of the guild window; ranks 1 and 2 are called Commander and Watcher.
- Hand over the leadership and disband the guild (with a second confirming click). If the leader leaves the guild, it passes to the highest-ranked member instead of dissolving.
- The missions tab explains every mission and what it is for.
Bugs reported by players
- Shop: the row shows the price with the reputation tax and the server charges that same amount per unit. No more "not enough money" at the shown price.
- Homeward Stone: the server drives the channel bar; a refusal on cooldown, a cancel on moving or the end of the channel always close it, and with no room at the destination the character appears one step aside.
- Dying while casting no longer leaves the character unable to cast anything after reviving.
- Quest "Venom in the Fang": the Venomous Hunter Wolf drops the Venom Gland (35 %) and the Poison Pouch (15 %).
- The camera no longer zooms in suddenly when a party member presses against the character.
- Dropping and picking up your own bag no longer counts for the Gatherer title.
- The Ice Arrow slow stays while the creature chases.
- Resonant Barrier has a visible aura during its 8 seconds.
- Server notices arrive in each player's language.
- Deleting a character asks for a second click and shows the error if it fails.
- The vignette pack no longer floods the log with divisions by zero (less work per frame).
Languages
- Russian: the whole game (6,131 texts, translated by hand) and the launcher. Chosen in Options → Language; the game fonts now carry Cyrillic glyphs.
- German and French: the new strings of this version are complete.
Launcher 2026.09.26.1
- No failure stays silent: if the WebView2 component does not start, the data folder cannot be written or the interface does not answer within 14 seconds, a dialog offers Retry, Install the runtime or Close; Alt+F4 always closes.
- "Could not connect": the launcher checks DNS, TCP 443 and HTTPS and shows the result with the Windows error name and the log path (%TEMP%\AshramLauncher.log), so antivirus, VPN, firewall or the PC clock can be checked.
- Launcher in Russian, with its flag.
