The four trades

A character learns up to 2 of the 4, and each levels from 1 to 10 on its own, independently of character level. Press J to choose.

What levelling a trade costs

Crafting one piece at your level grants 150 trade points. From 1 to 10 there are 97,250: about 649 crafts with real materials behind them, and that is the best case.

An old recipe stops teaching

You do not level by spamming the cheap recipe: the more levels you have over it, the less it pays.

  • 1 level below50%
  • 2 levels below20%
  • Three levels or more below0%

Changing trade

The 2 slots hold whatever you pick. Abandoning a trade frees its slot, but wipes the progress: that trade’s level and points do not come back if you learn it again.

Batch crafting

The bench and the recipes tab (C) have a − N + selector and a MAX button that picks everything the bag can pay for (up to 99). Stackable recipes yield more units the higher the trade; gear comes out one piece at a time, because each one is its own roll.
