Economy & weight

Gold comes in slowly and leaves fast: repairing, refining and restocking potions compete for the same pocket. And everything you carry slows you down.

Merchants

Merchants

They buy and sell with limited stock that restocks daily. What you sell is paid on the spot; what you buy comes from the same pocket you repair with.

15% tax

15% tax

Every purchase pays a fifteen percent tax, already included in the price you see. That money goes to a common fund: the foundation of the clan economy coming later.

Prices sized to the level

Prices sized to the level

Merchant gear costs about what one level of hunting at its level earns: the full bronze set is around two silver and its weapon one. Refining stones cost half what they did, and no merchant sells anything for less than it pays for it.

Crafting pays

Crafting pays

Crafted food, bandages, tonics, traps and bombs sell for 25% more than their ingredients are worth on their own. Health and resonance potions are the exception: the merchant sells them cheap, so they are best crafted for personal use.

What loot is worth

What loot is worth

Monster materials are worth three times what they were at the merchant, so selling what is hunted is enough to buy and craft. Monsters that drop no materials pay double in coins.

Account vault

Account vault

Storage shared by every character on the account, with its own gold and four tabs (the fourth with the Premium Vault service). What is left there weighs nothing, takes no bag space and is not lost on death.

Weight

Weight

Everything you carry weighs. Past half your capacity you lose 10% speed; with a full backpack, half your speed and you cannot pick up anything else.
